I lost over half my hair during the summer as a result of a trauma from a surgery in June so as you can imagine I was a bit apprehensive having my hair cut. I had Matthew cutting my hair today & he really took his time with me. He talked me through what would work best to ensure my hair doesn’t look even thinner than it already is. He also explained all the volumising products he was using and discussed with me the best tools to use to create a soft wave/curl. Truly a wonderful experience,making me feel so much better about my hair loss. Thank you so much Matthew.

It was my first time visiting Gershwins and I had a welcoming experience from the moment I walked through the door. Emilia cut and styled my hair. Emilia did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and helped correct the error of the last person who cut my hair elsewhere. My hair feels sleek with a precise cut. I am very happy. went to get a short cut after cutting at home for around three years. I get very nervous in new places, however felt a lot more relaxed as the process started. the staff are all very nice and welcoming, as well as the place having a relaxing and calm atmosphere. I left having exactly what I wanted.

Anna was brilliant she cut my hair beautifully and really listened to what I wanted. Helped with scalp treatments and I left the salon feeling like a new woman. Very happy 😊

I've tried several salons around Newton Abbot and I have never come away happy. This is my second visit with Cara, and it's such a lovely experience. Cara is knowledgeable & understands my hair and how I'm able to manage it. I feel very comfortable and love the cut. I will definitely be back for my next cut.
