The love of animals and the desire to keep or get them well is very apparent at Powderham Vets in Newton Abbot. I have had 2 minor emergencies with my dog having low blood sugar levels and we have been welcomed at short notice on both occasions. The staff are friendly and professional and the vet is committed to finding the cause and appropriate treatment. I would have no reservations recommending this practice.

Always receive a kind and caring welcome from all staff at Powderham. Appointments are easy to make, reminders for flea/worming are helpful and on time and all staff are super knowledgeable. My cat has been very well looked after. Would absolutely recommend!

An excellent vets have been with them for years and they really do care

Felt most welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Very informative and caring. Our dogs welfare was discussed at length and explained really well. The vet Tom was superb.

I have used PVG for more years than I can remember and have always found them very helpful & kind and on a couple of occasions going the extra mile. I feel confident that my cats (my babies!) are getting the best care with the friendly staff, my grumpy old cat loves them giving him a cuddle, who with out their care and attention wouldn't be here today. From my initial phone call my puppy was seen very promptly. She was sent home with some treatments which worked within a couple of hours. She was completely back to normal the next morning. Everyone working was polite and helpful. I now plan to register all of my animals here.

Highly recommend this vet practice! From the reception desk to the veterinary nurses to the actual vets, they are all so welcoming and understanding to your pets needs and you as an owner. My dog fli loves visiting the vets and gets a huge welcome by all the staff. She's a crazy, full of life collie, who loves people but not other four legged friends but they handle this brilliantly and has never caused an issue with her getting treatment. I have been with this vets for many years and will stay with them for many more years to come! I lost my Jack Russell last may, and the vets were so good throughout and after. This to me will always show to me how good they are. They even have a little picture of him up on the wall in the surgery, than makes me smile every time I see him there xx Huge thanks to all the staff there and I couldn't recommend them more!!
