Just bought two traditional from Newton Abbot. Absolutely vile, even the dog turned her nose up. Luke warm, greasy dripping taste, pastry like greasy rubber. £7.00 down the drain. Heading g for the bin where it belongs.

The pastys are nice when you can get them. Twice I have gone in at 1 o'clock for lunch. But they have ran out both times. I find it hard to understand that you are a food takeaway business, yet at lich time you have nothing to sell. Lots of disappointment let a lone the sales you are missing out on as business.

Had a cheese an onion pasty, it was dry, overly salted, the filling was indistinguishable, no idea if it was cheese or onion that I tasted. Overall grim

Husband and I both had pasties. Was not at all impressed. They looked awful but thought we would try as others say they are good. They aren't. Mainly potato inside with very little meat or any swede etc. All mushy and falls apart and a bit greasy. Not impressed at all!

Honestly the most vile pasty I’ve ever eaten clearly this store don’t clean the blackened trays that come stuck to the bottom of your pasty also every pasty you buy from there is a potato pasty no mean jus boiled potato and pastry

Beautiful, tasty with nice pastry and filling, covid friendly. The lovely smell coming from the shop enticed us in.

Whenever I am in Newton Abbot, which is not often due to coronavirus, I ALWAYS pop in for a large pasty as they are the best. This started almost 50 years ago in Sidwell Street in Exeter.

Came here for frozen pasties for my grandad, he loved them and they cooked beautifully. The staff are really friendly, and the food is nice, its just a bit out of the way. Hence the 4 stars.
