Had a new tattoo done with Rachel this week and I absolutely love it. I gave her some ideas and she came up with a great design. I’ve had lots of compliments on it already. The studio itself was clean and everyone was welcoming and friendly! I definitely recommend these guys and if I choose to have another tattoo, this place will be my first choice.

I was with the very talented Lauren Nebula. Very approachable, professionally, welcoming. I had design I wanted doing but asked to be tweeked slightly. She actually made the design better! I'll be returning for the rest of my sleeve no doubt!

I was scrabbling to get a tattoo before the impending lockdown looming over us like a vulture waiting for the kill! I searched the entire day online, on foot, in Exeter and Newton Abbot. I got to Union Street Tattoo lastly and they managed to fit me in for a quick tattoo. I was over the moon! Walking into the studio, it was a nicely laid out studio, three areas for the tattoo artists to work, incredibly clean and beautifully lit. I was welcomed in by Jay, who was very very helpful, was very quick to help me come up with the design and font I wanted. Gave me some pointers and found the font that exceeded my expectations. He cleaned down his station thoroughly, set up his machine. I always feel much more at ease when an artist sets up their machines in front of you! I know they will never give you a reused or sterilized needle, but you can see them open the newly packaged needle. Whilst Jay set up, I looked at the work on the wall, some incredible things to look at! I was ready for my tattoo, I haven't had one in 4 years, so I was a little nervous. The stencil was applied, I decided above the armpit/ bicep area.. so I was expecting this to be a spicy tattoo haha. I was happy with the placement, so we got started. I was really comfortable actually, which is a first for a tattoo if I'm honest. Jay really is a friendly, interesting guy, chatted whilst getting the tattoo done. Really made the experience a great one. Do you know what for the placement I picked, it was a lot less painful than I thought! I think that surprised both me and him haha. Honestly I'm really happy with the tattoo, I am really happy! My partner didn't kill me haha. I would love to go and see what more work I can get done here. Really thank Jay for fitting me in very late notice, being so welcoming and coming up with a tattoo that exceeded everything I wanted. Lovely studio, great work, amazing staff! I highly recommend!
