I have been using Harbron Recruit for over 6 months now I have never used agencies before but due to my company and work load rapidly growing it was something I started doing and haven’t looked back. Have had a fair amount of work through Harbron since joining them last year. Everything is done by its staff to provide a good service to us as workers and the construction companies that use us. My main contact has always been Kirstie Hooton. Who, as well as always being happy and polite, has endeavoured to keep everything running smoothly with the given jobs. The payments are direct into the bank the following week providing relevant paperwork submitted on time, which makes the whole work experience a pleasure to be involved in.

Worked for them getting paid through their umbrella company Tedpay and got ripped off every week was meant to be paid £12 per hour with 12.07% extra on top for holidays. It actually worked out as £10.60ish (varied by a few pence most weeks) inclusive of holiday. According to Tedpay and Harbron this is perfectly fine, every other worker I spoke to has also had payment issues with this company unless they are a contractor paid through CIS some even worked for less than minimum wage. The staff at Harbron tell you one thing then lie through their teeth when they get caught out nor show any compassion due to their lies financially affecting you (I had to pay £90 a week fuel and parking which they knew about but due to the under payment made living very difficult). They struggle to hold on to staff worth there value that are capable of doing a good job due to the fact of ripping them off, so they leave for other agencies.
