An excellent place to find Christian books, resources and gifts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had been trying to obtain a book from church house publishing, from the major, "book shop" in town which is part of a large chain. They told me that the book by Church House Publishing was unavailable. I went into Choice Words on a Saturday morning to enquire about ordering the book and it was waiting in the shop for collection by the following Tuesday. This is a real book shop, that still sells the books that we need, rather than the books that we are pushed to read. I cannot rate it highly enough. Oh, and the staff know what they are doing and are very polite! Thankyou Choice Words.

Fabulous shop packed with an amazing range of books and gifts. The cherry on top of this wonderful place is a secondhand section at the rear. A-maz-ing. Phyllis really really lovely. Check it out, it's a gem 💎.

Very definitely worth a visit. Lots of books, inc some second-hand commentaries. Very pleasant and helpful staff. If you're staying in South Devon, this bookshop is 5 mins walk from Newton Abbot station.

Fantastic staff, huge range of Christian books new and second hand, cards and gifts. Very peaceful setting.

This store has a very good selection of Christian books, from devotionals to bible study aids to fiction. A very large amount of books for children whether they be bible stories or stories with Christian principles and morals. The store also has keepsakes and other gifts relating to Christianity such as bookmarks, crosses, pictures, music etc. I highly recommend this shop.

A very well stocked shop with huge collection of second hand books. A little disappointing on CDs though. Well worth a visit.

Really friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to find that track or book you want. Excellent range of cards, books, CDs, DVDs, resources, gifts large and small.
