Well done to one of your drivers driving a white Toyota at 15:20 on Saturday 16th September round Penn Inn roundabout, cut me up twice cutting across 2 lanes of traffic causing me to brake so hard the ABS cut in and then proceeds to drive through a red light - obviously determined to get to where you are going with no thought to road users or road laws - appalling driving.

Shouldn’t be a company. Charged me £62 for a 10-14 min drive because I ‘had to pay for as soon as he got in his car’ all the way from where he was to us, and back home. He was over an hour late to get us no apologies just ‘you need to pay now’ didn’t say how much either until I asked. I only paid it because I needed to get home, I put a complaint into my bank account and got a refund from the bank but not them. Stupid company I wish I could go into minus stars.

I hate giving two star reviews, but twice I've tried Frankies, and twice they've been dreadful. I can't help think this should be a one star review. I tried them last year for an early morning drop at the railway station. They were 20 minutes late with little apology or remorse, which led to a missed train for me and a full day of apologies from me to colleagues and clients for constantly being late. Fast forward to this week. I'm thinking anyone can have a bad week, and maybe I should try them again. Go to the website. Proud declarations of their technology, and calls to download the app as its the easiest way to book. I think, wow, they're really moving with the times, so I do. And I book another early drop off for the railway station. Several hours later I get a message to say that they're sorry to cancel the booking. Confused I call them to see if it's correct, or an error. Nope, I'm assured, it's correct. The app takes bookings, and then it's only later in the day that they're all assigned, and they may not have the capacity. I question if there's any point to the app then, to which the response is a nervous laugh and a suggestion of 'no'. Once again let down, scrabbling to find another company with late notice. And an app that seems nothing short of a con.

Came really quick while the other taxi services of Exeter were giving half an hour to forty five minute wait times. Great chat, good driving and a great price. Would recommend

Accepted an online booking but was well over 30 minutes late to picking us up. On the positive side the app showed us how late they were running so we could cancel our booking.

We used Frankies Taxis several times last weekend. Booking online was convenient and all of the drivers were polite and professional. Taxis were all on time and were quality vehicles. Excellent service! Would definitely use them again when we are in the area. Service: Limousines

Had a wedding on Saturday and was due to go to a friends to have my hair done. I wanted to avoid walking up a huge hill in my formal wear, so I went to book a taxi at least 4 days before. I went on Frankies Taxis Teignbridge website and this advised me to download their app and make a booking. I did so and made my booking for 09:50 on Saturday morning. Booking was accepted and visible. Me and my partner got ready and waited outside and no taxi turned up. After 5 minutes I call their office asking about my Taxi and if they have gotten lost as they've not turned up. The girl on the phone said she doesn't have any drivers for 45 minutes. I asked her how this can be as I prebooked by their app earlier in the week and I have to be at my friends in 15 minutes, why are all their drivers busy knowing that they already had a booking? She again repeats she doesn't have any drivers for 45 minutes and she does not seem to know much about the app. I just say thank you and end the call this point as I'm annoyed now have a long sweaty walk up a steep hill in my wedding guest attire ahead of me. Safe to say I was late and a mess by the time I got to my friends and had to apologise to the hairdresser for the state I was in and had to spend the small amount of time available cleaning myself up. So thanks for nothing Frankies Taxis Teignbridge, wasted my time and left me in the Lurch. Terrible service! Do not use them!
