Order was an hour late and freezing cold, Iv tried to call them and been on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes so far. Very disappointed. Do not waste your money here. Appalling service.

I visited last night (a Saturday) to pick up a couple of large pizzas I'd ordered online for collection. Was astonished to find only one employee churning out all of the food. She was doing a sterling job, despite obviously having a mountain of orders to deal with, both from online and walk-ins. Food was great, as usual.

We waited for nearly two hours for our delivery and nothing arrived. We contacted Papa Johns to find out our delivery status. No apology for the delay, just asked if we could collect our order or we would have to wait another half an hour. The food finally turned up after waiting for almost three hours. The pizza was cold and tasteless. Very disappointed.

The most useless take away ever. I ordered through Just Eat, they accepted my order. 1 hour later. No pizza. No answer on the phone. Order says delivered. Absolute joke.

Food is as you'd expect from a fast food restaurant, above average but nothing to write home about. Service not as you'd expect though, below average, staff are nice enough but don't seem to care whatsoever & have missed items off an order several times. All in all slightly underwhelming and frustrating as I do like to take away from here for convenience sometimes.

I can only assume the management at the Newton Abbot branch see customers as a nuisance based on my experience this evening.
Ordered for delivery at 7.30pm, at 9 pm still no delivery, in spite of the app saying our food had been delivered.
Called the branch and was told my order was just out the oven and out for delivery.
30 minutes later and still no delivery. (10 minute drive from store to my door).
This call, I’m told it’s 10 minutes away, at this point I accepted the offer of cancelling the order so let’s see how great the refund goes.
For reference, the order is 1 pizza and 2 sides.
Honestly, how hard is it to make and deliver pizza, I’d genuinely like to know what went wrong.

I've just had to call to see where my food was 45 min after ordering to be told it will be a further 60 min. I've cancelled the order, I now have to wait 7 days for a refund

Order a pizza online system crashed, took my money but no pizza had to order again and pay again, so paid twice for one pizza over a week has elapsed still no refund better off going to Dominos better pizza and more trustworthy than papa Johns, most annoying bit is no contact even though I have spoken to two supposed managers and all the details were logged very poor customer service! Update today is the 2nd of January despite numerous attempts to get my money back still nothing so they have had my money 2 months now absolute joke customer service! Up date after speaking to Sarah at customer service finally got my refund today 3/1/2024!!!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza to takaway. The pepperoni was underneath the cheese even though its called a topping. completely slid of the base Was the most greasy pizza i have ever had in my life. Never again.

We had our 2 pizzas arrive last night and they were dreadful. We picked up a slice and the toppings fell off instantly as seen in the pictures below. We phoned up the store and the on shift manager (Friday 11th August at 2120) said it was due to it be being 'hot'. As we had a slice of the pizza he said there was nothing they could do for us and we were left extremely disappointed in the service provided and the standard of pizza we received. We will not be returning again!
