All the staff at Boots Opticians are always very professional but also friendly and helpful. I always feel very comfortable there and the lady who looked after me, I cannot remember her name, tall, blonde, slim with glasses was lovely and recommended me the perfect pair of frames. I had a thorough eye test and contact lens check all with the optometrist. I needed to solve several sight issues which he dealt with very well and made sure I understood everything. I left feeling relieved that all had been sorted.

All the staff Zak, Harry and Amie were very professional extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Harry gave me a detailed assessment of my eye test.

Glasses frames broke after one year, no replacement frames offered. Was originally told to simply buy new glasses. Neglected to suggest the frames could be replaced, which they could. Told to drive in, deliver glasses, pay £45 for replacement frame and come back to buy them at a separate time. No facility to pay for frames over internet so two separate trips needed, even though they know what frames I need, and have then in stock. Finally, when I suggested this system was silly, however not the staffs fault, I stated they had 'lost a customer, so goodbye' and was met with a simple 'bye' from the staff member. Been going for years. Not anymore.

The opticians and staff members at Boots opticians always go above and beyond, they are incredibly thorough, professional and always friendly, it was an optician at the Newton Abbot branch who caught my neurological brain disorder through thorough inspection and quick referral to hospital, for this I am massively grateful. Always a lovely eye test at Boots!

Staff at Newton Abbot Optician is an absolute class edit to Boots company. I had the help from the optician the assistant manager and 3 assistants. They all took time and went the extra mile. From the lady who’s dad paid and I have repaid him 😂

Just picked up our glasses from June 3056 in Newton Abbot. First class help and great staff. Been to Specsavers and Visionexpress but would certainly recommend Boots in Newton Abbot as the staff including Harry and his fellow opticians were very helpful and the choice of specticals was great. We ordered our glasses on Saturday 19th and received them today on the 26th. Thank you June and your colleagues for your help. Thank you Boots for the choice.
